STACIA (pronounced Stay-Sha) is a unique Songwriter /vocalist that can sing just about any style of music convincingly. Stacia is no stranger to live performances and prefers it to taped appearances. Stacia has been performing in a variety of music genres & venues throughout the east coast. She leads her own jazz trio & R& B/Funk quartet, a cabaret revue, and hosts open mikes in the tri-state New York areas with her band “Free”. This songstress has been a lead vocalist in the local Jazz and Soul group “Jazz Plus”, the funk rock band “The Drive”, Funk and R&B bands “The Jam Syndicate” & “The BG Experience”
She has been a featured vocalist in the finest Entertainment Company Bands, New York City Swing & the Empire Orchestra. Stacia has sung backgrounds for Sybil, Will Calhoun, Cyrus Chestnut, Alex Bugnon, the Popular NYC dance Band “Booga Sugar”, and Jamaica All-stars lead singer Tonni Smith. She is a graduate of Music & Art High School & Berklee College of Music respectively with honors. Her long awaited debut Album “Keep It Movin” is doing well in the UK and sure to become an international Christian Inspirational & Urban Gospel favorite.
She’s performed at the St. Alban’s Jazz Festival, Forest Hills Jazz Thursday’s Summerfest, NYC African Arts Festival, and the Secaucus Arts Festival, Carnegie Hall, Don’t Tell Mama Cabaret, Cafe Iguana, For My Sweet, Jazz 966, Social Butterfly, Chez Lucienne, Creole Music Supper club, Harlem Tavern, NY Public Library Concert Series & the Village Underground. Stacia is a multi faceted entertainer that hosts a Queens public television program “Fade 2 Black” & provides motivational speaking to various youth programs. She is a dynamic and refreshing addition to the urban music scene.
