Beledo was born in Montevideo, Uruguay and had an extensive career in South America as a bandleader and composer as well as a collaborator, alongside Pedro Aznar, Ruben Rada, Hugo Fattoruso and many others. After being featured in Guitar Player Magazine and Jazziz Magazine he moved to the US, where he worked with many great musicians like Gary Husband, Jimmy Haslip, Randy Brecker, Stefon Harris, Manolo Badrena, Adam Holzman, Lincoln Goines, and many others. His first instrument was the piano but later he discover a natural proficiency for the guitar that quickly gave him a guitar-hero status from an early age. His new CD on Moonjune Records is called Dreamland Mechanism.
