Versatile and engaging musician, Ben “The Sax Guy” is a uniquely skilled multi-instrumentalist. Ben recently performed a string of shows as a featured performer with the Dave Matthews Band. Ben is an original member of the critically acclaimed Postmodern Jukebox, going all the way back to the initial inception of the group. He is also the founder of the jazz-funk quartet “Ben And Friends” and the co-founder of the jazz trio “The Owlz.” With all four saxophones as his primary instruments, Ben also plays clarinet, flute, trumpet, vocals, melodica, keys, guitar, ukulele, bass, beatbox, and percussion.
Ben is a staple of the Brooklyn scene and can be found playing all over the place, performed a vast array of genres. His consistent, extensive work as a sideman over the last fifteen years is a culmination of his talent, enthusiastic personality, and passion for musical collaboration.
