The Oskar Stenmark Quartet will be performing for the first time at Club Bonafide. The group fuses traditional Swedish folk melodies with the New York Jazz sound and reinterprets songs originally performed by Stenmark’s ancestors. This modern approach to Swedish folk is a fresh addition to the New York Jazz scene. Oskar has a Master of Jazz Arts from the Manhattan School of Music and has lived in New York City since 2014, playing with jazz legends such as James Morrison, Dave Liebman and GRAMMY award winner Maria Schneider.
