Jazz soprano saxophonist Stan Chovnick, a native New Yorker, has performed at many venues in New York City including Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola (Jazz at Lincoln Center), the famed Warwick Hotel, The Triad, Cornelia Street Café, Iridium Jazz Club and Jazz at the Kitano to name a few. He has not only performed on many jazz recordings but has also produced over twenty CDs including critically acclaimed recordings such as Freddie Hubbard’s “Above & Beyond,” Billy Harper’s “Soul of an Angel”, a tribute CD to Rahsaan Roland Kirk entitled “Haunted Melodies” and Linda Presgrave’s “Along The Path”.
