His latest release entitled “TheTribute” is dedicated to the Haitian earthquake victims and a trip back to his roots musically.

Chardavoine is a concrete manifestation of what is called “Creole jazz” a new genre emerging in Jazz today.

The Tribute is an eloquent testimony of this musical genre. It showcases soliloquies hence, showcasing his talents culminating the melodic creativity of a seasoned arranger.

On January 17th, 2015 The Chardavoine Band opened for the Grammy Award winning group “Yellow jackets” at the Port-au-Prince Jazz Festival which was a soul awakening experience after forty years of absence from his homeland of Haiti.
