“WEDNESDAY’S CHILD IN WINTER:
Jazz Vocalist Erin McDougald Interprets the Music of
Leonard Cohen, Simon & Garfunkel, Hoagy Carmichael and more!”

Attracting jazz neophytes and aficionados alike with her elastic vocal range, rhythmic courage and dynamic repertoire, McDougald engages international audiences with a natural, coquettish wit and ingenue-like charm with a warm tone described by Jazz Improv Magazine as “spicy and sweet in equal measure; worldly, thrilling and… positively mercurial”. She has entertained everyone from Maya Angelou to Bob Dylan, Clint Eastwood to Derek Jeeter and Bill Clinton to Bill Murray. On Wednesday, February 22nd, at 9:30pm, in her Club Bonafide debut, McDougald will be presenting unique interpretations and improvisational treatments of music in and outside of the jazz genre; exploring the music of Leonard Cohen, Simon and Garfunkel, Hoagy Carmichael -and more- with gem-songs like Hazy Shade of Winter and Spring can Really Hang You Up the most, featuring some of New York City’s diamonds-in-the-rough, major talents: multi-instrumentalist Rob Block, bassist Cliff Schmitt, and, established luminaries such as reed player Tim Price and drummer Eric Halvorson. Tickets for this one-night-only 70 minute concert are $40.00 per person; McDougald’s CDs will be available for purchasing at the conclusion of the performance.
